Q. How do design fees work?
A. We have a simple retainer system, which means you get an upfront, room-by-room estimate, and pay in installments as your project progresses. Our goal is to provide a straightforward, clear fee that makes working with us stress-free!
Q. Are furnishings included in the design fee?
A. Furnishing costs are separate from the design fee. When your project includes shopping for your furnishings, we’ll provide you with a “good”, “better”, and “best” recommendation for your budget. You decide how much you want to spend on furnishings, and we’ll shop accordingly.
Q. Do you shop trade or retail?
A. Both! We primarily take advantage of our trade accounts to bring you the best quality furnishings at the best price. Occasionally, we find a retail piece that we just can't do without, and will include it in our sourcing. For accessories our team shops our favorite retail sources to fill out your space with the perfect accents.
